For starters, I make absolutely no apologies for any of the terrible puns or corny ass references I make this season (see: title of thread)
Ok so this tribe is, como se dice, needy. We talked about the challenge last night for I shit you not, three hours. THREE. HOURS. And we didn't even fucking do it. We were all around and available to do it, sans Emilie but what the fuck ever cause the girl doesn't have a laptop so what is the point of waiting? Anyway, we waited, even though we practiced, had plans in place, everybody know their roles, and we were all ready, because people were nervous about it. HMMMMMPPPPH
Like part of me totally gets it, it's our first challenge and we have no idea how we work together, we don't know how good the other tribes are, but it's so hard to get everybody around and on the same page to begin with, and we want to wait till the next day cause Emilie, who's been the least relevant person on our tribe? Also, Amanda is drunk off something apparently, so these people are like "lets wait until she's ready to go and sober". And granted, I've known Amanda for 24 hours, and this was the first time I've talked to her, but I don't think she's getting any smarter over night. No human being in the history of planet earth has wanted to "run" as much as this girl. She's like "I want to run!" "I want to do the running part cause I'm bad at puzzles." "I'm running." "I thought I was gonna be the one to post 'Nawa Arrives'?! I wanted to post that!" Like GIRL.
WE ALL ARE RUNNING. THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO LOGIC IN YOU DOING IT BY YOURSELF.
So, I and a few tribemates try to explain this to her in much nicer and casual terms and we conclude that 5 people is probably the sweet spot and she's like, "I think we should do like 3." If I had to guess this is because she's really nervous about her challenge abilities and wants to make it seem like she did something, but, it's literally posting so how impressed exactly should we be? So currently I just want to feed her to the spiders.
For Emilie, she just better be as good at puzzles as she says, cause if we waited for her just for her to flop, I'll have thoughts.
Tyler is probably my favorite on the tribe to pm with, so I hope he feels good about me, but he was really deflecting left and right on call last night. And for my game, I don't think it's good to pair me with somebody who is adverse to putting themselves out there or is gonna just deflect anytime a conversation comes up he wants to avoid. It's very see through and raises red flags, especially later in the game. It could be just cause it's night two, but if somebody like Adrian is clearly hinting at an alliance, let his ass fucking say it, don't turn the convo towards "I feel really good about the challenge and our tribe unity".
I'm getting along with Sunshine and Adrian, but I need more time to solidify either of those relationships as something OR decide they aren't what I'm looking for.
